Ramen Making Experience

In the "Ramen Making Experience Class," you will learn to make authentic, Halal-friendly homemade ramen from scratch.

The class begins with learning how to make a delicious ramen broth without using any chemical seasonings. Following that, you'll understand the differences between ramen noodles and other types of noodles, and how to create the perfect, springy noodles. Additionally, you'll delve into the secret recipe for the ramen broth. Through the recipes taught in this class, you will be able to make delicious ramen at home anytime.

The instructor of the class is Ms. Nahoko. Since 2017, Ms. Nahoko has been hosting cooking classes for foreign tourists, becoming so popular that classes are almost held daily during peak seasons. Her classes are loved by guests from all over the world, and the ramen not only tastes great but also looks beautiful, making it perfect for Instagram!

The experience class is held at Ms. Nahoko's home, located about 25 minutes from Shinjuku via the Chuo Line, in Kunitachi City. It's approximately a 4-minute walk from the nearest station. Ms. Nahoko values the natural flavors of ingredients, avoiding the use of chemical additives and processed foods. You will also learn the art of table setting. The warmth of Ms. Nahoko's home will make this an unforgettable experience.

Time

Approximately 4 hours from 10:00 to 14:00

  • The session may take a little longer than expected, so please allow plenty of time in your schedule.

  • It is also possible to set aside 10-15 minutes for prayer during class.

  • Prayer mats and private prayer spaces are provided.

Fee

20,900 yen/person (private lesson) or

14,900 yen/person (group lesson)

*In addition to private classes (20,900 yen), we also offer group classes for 14,900 yen. In group classes, Muslims and non-Muslims participate in the class together and make Halal ramen topped with Halal chicken. Therefore, you can participate alone as long as you can form a group with other guests.

Approximately 4 minutes from Kunitachi Station (Details will be sent to you after your reservation is completed.)

Number of participants

1~6 people

*The minimum number of participants is 4 people from February 22 to May 31, 2024 and from September 8 to November 30, 2024. If you wish to make a reservation for 1 to 3 people, the price for 4 people will be charged.

For dates other than the above period, the minimum number of participants is 2 people. If you make a reservation for 2 people, you will be charged the price for 2 people. If you make a reservation for 1 person, you will be charged the price for 2 people.

  • All seasonings and ingredients used in this class are Halal-compliant, and no alcohol or pork is used. (We comply with Halal regulations based on the guidance of the Made in Japan Halal Support Council .)

  • However, the cookware and dishes used in this class are the same as those used in other regular classes.
