Popular Halal Restaurants in Asakusa

Assalamu Alaikum!

I am Yuta from the Japan Muslim Tour.

We offer halal Japanese cuisine experiences and private tour services in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.🇯🇵

Asakusa is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo, but it is also a hub for halal dining options.

Today, I will introduce some of the renowned halal restaurants in Asakusa.🗼

Hope you will enjoy it. :)

Restaurants List:

  1. Gyumon Halal Ramen Asakusa

  2. Sushiken Asakusa

  3. Wagyu Yakiniku PANGA Asakusa

  4. LUXE BURGERS & Sunny's Table

  5. Tempura Asakusa SAKURA

Gyumon Halal Ramen Asakusa

First, we have Gyumon Halal Ramen Asakusa, which opened in February 2024 and offers Wagyu Paitan Ramen. They have several locations in Tokyo, including Shibuya and Ikebukuro.

One of their highly recommended menu items is the "Spicy Ramen" with jumbo fried chicken. The restaurant also features a "Prayer Room" where you can pray at any time.

Hours: Monday to Sunday: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Closed: Irregular holidays

Sushiken Asakusa

Currently, this is the only sushi restaurant in Japan with halal certification.

Usually, Japanese cuisine uses ingredients like mirin, but this restaurant has removed all such ingredients to comply with halal requirements. They also have a prayer space available.🕌

Hours: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Closed: Wednesday

Wagyu Yakiniku PANGA Asakusa

This yakiniku restaurant in Asakusa offers the highest quality wagyu beef.

They purchase whole black wagyu cattle to provide the best meat.

At their Asakusa branch, they select only the finest cuts from their main branch, which has been in business for 25 years.

You can enjoy your meal with views of the Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree!

Hours:

Monday to Saturday:

11:30 AM to 2:00 PM (Grand menu only on Saturday) / 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Last order at 10:00 PM)

Sunday: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Last order at 9:00 PM)

LUXE BURGERS & Sunny's Table

Luxe Burgers & Sunny's Table is a restaurant offering authentic burgers and bistro dishes crafted by a French chef. They serve specialty burgers with 100% beef or 100% lamb patties. The lamb burger is particularly unique, and it is very juicy and tasty.

The bistro menu also has a lot of options, like steaks, lamb chops, and fresh vegetable dishes from farms in Miura.

Hours: 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM Lunch menu available until 1:30 PM

Closed: Irregular holidays

Tempura Asakusa SAKURA

Tempura Asakusa SAKURA, located just a minute's walk from Asakusa in Tokyo, is a tempura restaurant that offers completely gluten-free and halal-certified meals.

We highly recommend the "Wagyu Sirloin and Vegetable Tempura Omakase Course" and the "Wagyu Sirloin Deluxe Tempura Rice Bowl."

This is a unique halal restaurant where you can experience Japanese food culture with dishes like wagyu and tempura.

Hours: Monday to Saturday, public holidays, day before and after public holidays: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Last order: Food 7:00 PM, Drinks 7:45 PM)
